It's important to follow these guidelines because not doing so could result in something from a friendly reminder to a permanent ban. We aim to make Kakoo a fun, secure, and welcoming space where everyone can truly express themselves while forming new acquaintances.
Kakoo’s Rules:
Adults Only: You must be 18 or older to use Kakoo – it’s not allowed to post images of minors, even if they are of yourself from younger days.
Respect Boundaries: People's comfort levels vary. As such, we prohibit nudity, sexual content, and explicit discussions of sexual desires on public profiles.
Privacy Matters: Keep personal information, such as your contact details, private, and never publicly share sensitive details like bank information or email passwords. Also, refrain from soliciting such information from others.
Violent Content is Forbidden: Our platform is a place for positivity. We strictly forbid content that involves gore, death, or violent acts towards people or animals, including the use of weapons and any form of self-harm advocacy.
Personal, Not Professional Connections: Kakoo is for personal use, not business. Do not use your profile for advertising, promotions, selling goods, fundraising, or political campaigning. No form of compensated companionship or similar services is allowed.
Be Authentic: Show the real you. Creating fake profiles or impersonating others undermines trust and is strictly forbidden.
Communicate with Respect: Always approach conversations with respect. If a discussion turns sour, take a moment to step back and reflect instead of reacting negatively. No form of harassment or bullying will be tolerated.
Promote Kindness, Not Harm: Any harmful behaviour, whether online or offline, is taken very seriously and can lead to immediate action. Always aim to contribute positively to the experiences of others.
Legal Compliance: Engaging in illegal activities is strictly banned on Kakoo. This includes but is not limited to, buying or selling illegal substances or goods or engaging in activities that harm minors or involve human trafficking.
One Person, One Account: Each account should have a single user. Sharing accounts or creating multiple accounts undermines the integrity of our community.
Own Your Content: Post only content that you own or have permission to use. Respect copyright and privacy at all times.
Be a Responsible Community Member: Do not misuse Kakoo to spread misinformation, spam, or manipulate others. False reports and the use of third-party tools to alter app functionality are strictly prohibited.
Stay Active: If you haven't logged into your account for two years, we may deactivate it for inactivity. Keep your account active by logging in periodically.
Reporting and Impact
We take our community guidelines seriously; that’s why we encourage you to report any behaviour that makes you uncomfortable or breaches our guidelines.
All reports are confidential and crucial for maintaining a safe environment.
We are committed to enforcing these guidelines to foster a positive community experience.
Violations may lead to warnings or bans depending on their severity.
We reserve the right to close accounts and withhold refunds if you misuse our service or engage in activities that violate our terms, whether on or off the app.
